The word climate refers to the general weather in a particular region, the word has been hijacked by the climate alarmists who often cite highly localised weather effects as proof of a climate emergency. Believe as you wish but remember they used the phrase global warming, which became climate change, a natural occurrence so this went out of fashion so they have now decided to call it climate emergency. These same climate alarmists were supposed to be under water when the world ended as they predicted 20 years or so ago.
